Sumner Web Services is a division of Sumner Communications dedicated to helping wholesalers, importers, distributors and manufacturers to create powerful and profitable web presences for their companies. We provide services in the five major areas involved in getting set up and succeeding on the Internet: Domain Name Registration, Domain Hosting, Web Site Design, E-Commerce, and Marketing & Advertising.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Any wholesaler who would like to: set up a new web site, move their existing web site, improve the appearance of their web site, set up e-commerce, or drive more traffic to their web site. This includes Wholesalecentral.com members who would like their link to go to a more full-featured web site than what is included for free with their listing membership.

THE SERVICES

Domain Hosting
There are millions of hosting packages to choose from. Let us help you choose the plan that is right for you. We have established relationships with professional-grade providers who have hosting plans that best meet the needs of companies in our industry. We will consult with you to determine your needs, select a plan that fits your budget, then take care of the sign-up and setup of your plan to your specification. Hosting plans range from $6.95 per month for smaller companies, up to $99.95 per month for a top-of-the-line E-Commerce plan to meet the needs of large businesses. Service fee: $50.00 (Hosting fees are charged separately by the selected hosting company.)

Domain Name Registration
We will register your domain name with a leading domain name registrant, then configure the domain to point to the provider where your domain is hosted. Service fee: $50.00 (plus $10 registrant fee)

Web Site Design
A professionally designed web site inspires confidence and leads to increased sales. We have been designing effective web sites for wholesalers since 1996. Our designers will work with you, one-on-one, to create a site within your budget that represents your company and gets results!

E-Commerce
To start in E-commerce you will need a storefront system (where buyers can place orders on the web) and an SSL certificate (which provides a secure environment for your customers to enter their contact and payment information). From there you can get choose to get a Merchant Account for accepting credit cards, a Payment Gateway for processing credit cards online, and more. We will consult with you to determine your needs, and then get you set up with each of the components you need to conduct business online.

Marketing & Advertising
